Welcome to the SDAF website

The Suffolk Disabled Anglers' Forum is a registered Charity that provides the opportunity for people with disabilities to gain access to angling. We currently organise coarse fishing sessions from early May and continue through to mid October, because of the bank-side banter, these sessions are very enjoyable for everyone taking part, including the volunteers and carers.

Angling is very therapeutic for people with disabilities, and the equipment we provide makes it very easy to use, we're sure that you would enjoy a day out with us. Our volunteer helpers and angling coaches have all the necessary skills, experience and knowledge needed to help and support you, all of them are registered and where needed DBS checked.

Why not try booking a taster day with us, we're sure you'll enjoy it. If you are interested and would like further information please see our contacts page.

The Suffolk Disabled Anglers' Forum wishes to thank the Environment Agency and Optua for their continued help and support.

We would like to thank Gipping Valley Angling Club (GVAC) for the use of Woody's Lake. Our sincere thanks also go to the Gipping Angling Preservation Society (GAPS) and the Hadleigh and District Angling Society for the use of their waters.

The Suffolk Disabled Angler's Forum is a member of the Angling Trust, (anglings governing body), we are also a member of Community Action Suffolk and Sported.

SDAF Registered Charity Number 1141652.
